The S4 and Sentinel trails are particularly interesting, both for hiking enthusiasts and history lovers. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trail S4: Pievebelvicino &#8211; Mount Civillina<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Departure<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Park your car in the square in Pievebelvicino or near the irrigation ditch on the old road to Torrebelvicino.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The trail starts from Rillaro locality, climbing the Merchants&#8217; Valley.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At first, the route is paved until the fork to the kaolin quarries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping to the left, continue climbing to the junction with the mule track leading from Zovo to Camonda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the most frequently used mule track, which leads to Fonte Civillina.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Itinerary<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Continue on the dirt road to Mt. Civillina.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the summit, take the S4A trail back to the Civillina Spring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue toward Colombo Pass on the road to Zovo Pass.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the bend below Mt. Castrazzano, begin the descent of the S4 trail to Tringole locality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>End the trail on the paved road, descending to Pievebelvicino.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sentinel Trail<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Departure<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drive up to Bonomini and take the road to the village of Rovegliana.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue to contrada Retassene, where there is a parking lot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Just below the parking lot, begin the marked trail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Itinerary<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The trail climbs steeply but is not physically difficult.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring a flashlight to visit military posts along the route.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the summit of Mt.
